Every September, a special day brings reflection and action—our CharityRx Founder’s Day of Service. Set for September 28, 2024, this year’s celebration continues our theme of “Hopeless to Hopeful,” focusing on giving back to those who dedicate their lives to serving our country. Inspired by our founder, Eric Beaumont, who launched CharityRx in September 2019, we will use this day to honor military service members and their families this year. Join us as we partner with the USO to host a Military Appreciation Movie Party in Las Vegas, bringing an evening of joy to soldiers and their loved ones.
Military families make sacrifices daily, often facing challenges that seem unending. These challenges range from frequent relocations and long deployments to the emotional strain of separation. Recent statistics reveal that about 37% of military spouses are unemployed or underemployed, mainly due to the challenges of continuous relocations. Additionally, nearly 30% of military families experience food insecurity, highlighting the financial struggles they face. By acknowledging these hurdles, we can better understand the importance of supporting and showing appreciation.
Our Military Appreciation Movie Party aims to offer a respite from these challenges, allowing service members and their families to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break. It’s a simple gesture, yet one filled with gratitude and acknowledgment of their unwavering dedication.
