The holiday season is a time for reflection, gratitude, and the incredible power of giving. At CharityRx, our commitment to our community shines brightest during December with our annual 12 Days of Hope event.
This year, the event continued to underscore one of our favorite sayings from founder Eric Beaumont, “The purpose is the prize.” This mantra reflects our goal to serve as a beacon of hope for those in need, a mission that grows more impactful every year. The event isn’t just about providing assistance—it’s about fostering meaningful connections, creating memories, and inspiring others to contribute to their communities.
Here’s how the CharityRx team members worked together to make a difference during the 12 Days of Hope in December 2024 and how you can join us in spreading kindness today.
During the 12 Days of Hope, CharityRx team members came together to give back in powerful ways. Each participant was assigned a Giving Day and had the opportunity to support a community cause, family, or individual. Our nationwide team showed their creativity and personalized their efforts to address specific needs in their local areas.
From hosting community events, shopping for children’s gifts, and lending a hand to families struggling to make ends meet, our team showed their commitment to community and embodied the spirit of giving. Below are just a few highlights of our volunteers’ experiences.
I worked with this group in 2023 and wanted to participate again. This year, I donated 11 coats to the coat drive.
Just 20 minutes from my home is a boarding school where most of the girls have gone through the foster care system and face challenges like RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder), which can make it difficult for them to connect with their adopted families. A few months ago, I had the privilege of touring the facility and meeting these amazing girls. They are bright, beautiful, and respectful, and they truly deserve a little extra hope this year. I wrapped up a large gel nail polish kit, some fun movies, and a printable camera for the 18 girls living at the school to enjoy. 12 Days of Hope is my favorite event of the year. I love it when I get to participate.
I wanted to help children in the foster care system, so I purchased men’s and women’s sweatpants, shirts, and toys from CharityRx and contributed some of my own money to buy hair and face products, art supplies, and feminine hygiene items. I donated the items to The Christmas Box House International.
Our neighborhood was doing a clothing drive for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and we donated hats and mittens. We also donated toys and clothes to a boy in need. My family had a good time picking out clothes and toys they thought the little boy would like. I am grateful I was able to get my kids involved.
2024 is my second year selecting a family from Domestic Violence Services of Benton & Franklin Counties. I added some personal presents for each recipient to the amount. I love the opportunity to help women in my community.
I chose Youth Futures because I wanted to help young children. There are multiple locations throughout Utah. My wife, kids, and I got a bunch of stocking stuffers for the youth. We donated makeup, speakers, headphones, Hydroflasks, and toys. The holiday season is one of my favorite times of the year. There is nothing better than giving back. I love having my family join, and I will participate every time I get the chance.
This charity is a new homeless shelter for teens in Cedar City, Utah. I chose to donate Maverik gift cards to the kids at Youth Futures because that’s what my kids love and got for Christmas.
I chose Monarch on 4th because I like their mission of providing a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where pregnant people, women, and parents of young children can access a wide range of support and services under one roof. I donated snacks and hygiene supplies to help their clients.
For my donation, I wanted to give to children in need. I have family members who are firefighters, and I hear their stories about toy deliveries. I have grandchildren, and I love watching them use their imagination to purchase toys for kids in need. We donated the toys to the Los Angeles County Fire Department Spark of Love Toy Drive. I also love participating in the 12 Days of Hope event!
My family showed our commitment to community and matched the donation from CharityRx to purchase and give gifts to attendees. We provided a hot meal, fellowship, and Christmas gifts to some of our community’s struggling and homeless members.
We shopped for ingredients, then cooked and served chili and cornbread to the group. After the meal, we talked with individuals, had fellowship, and shared a message of Christ with them. We set up a tent with music for entertainment, and my daughter sang. We also set up a painting table where attendees could create art to take with them. I love that CharityRx brings HOPE!
No one should be a victim of domestic violence, but when someone is, we need to help them. Sarah’s Friends specifically helps these victims. I asked the director to identify the items they needed most. With that list, my daughter Katie helped me purchase the required items. We delivered our gifts to Sarah’s Friends. I included bundles of CharityRx prescription discount cards, expecting this population most likely to be without insurance. The director was thankful for the gifts and the cards. I appreciate CharityRx allowing me to help someone locally!
I donated to Greenhouse Project, a charity that helps the homeless, those in addiction, and troubled youth in Chester, PA. I’m thankful for the chance to participate!
We donated to the GoFundMe of a sweet family with three special-needs children. They needed funds to purchase a van so they could go out together as a family.
I gave hope to two families in my community. One family lost their husband and father two months ago and is struggling financially, emotionally, and mentally. The other is a single mom with two children, one of whom is disabled. I thought giving them a few gifts and some ready-to-cook meals would help them feel less stressed. My family and I purchased and wrapped some toys, blankets, massage gift certificates, and frozen meal kits. I wrapped and delivered all the items to their homes. I love being able to help those in our local communities we see who need hope!
For our Giving Day, we let each of our kids pick an item from the Light the World Giving Machine! They selected a few gifts: a goat, infant formula, a home library, new home supplies, and a toddler activity box.

This year’s 12 Days of Hope event reaffirmed the incredible power of our commitment to community engagement. Supporting local causes isn’t just about donations; it’s about creating ripples of empathy and kindness that inspire others to act.
CharityRx’s mission is grounded in elevating communities and sparking real change. By empowering our team members to identify local opportunities for giving, we’re fostering stronger, more connected neighborhoods while showing what’s possible when businesses prioritize people over profits.
Each act of kindness carries the same message: that no one is insignificant and that even the slightest effort can brighten someone’s life.
One of the defining features of the 12 Days of Hope is the partnership between CharityRx customers and our prescription discount card. Every time someone fills a prescription with the CharityRx discount card, a portion of the transaction helps fuel charitable efforts.

Founder Eric Beaumont often reminds the CharityRx team, “The purpose is the prize.” This quote summarizes everything CharityRx and the 12 Days of Hope event stand for—it’s not about recognition or accolades but the fulfillment of knowing you’ve made a positive impact on someone’s life.
This vision drives all of CharityRx’s initiatives, but it’s especially apparent in our holiday season efforts. By instilling this purpose-driven culture across our organization, Eric has inspired each team member to become a beacon of hope for their communities and anyone in need across the nation.
